MTC. DA CLAIR. LAND OF THE LOST. 043.042. MONTCLAIR, NJ

Let me explain something to all you none Montclair people. You don’t understand anything about us. We are a very different and specific bread of people. We are easily apart of the most diverse town in the entire world in every way. Economically, socially, racially, and any other isms or ly’s you can think of. The best part about it is we can all get along. We bond over blunts and brews. Nothing phases us. We don’t get worked up over celebrities or crazy irrelevant events that happen because we know there are more important things in life then that. We have experienced insanely tragic things like some of the greatest people in our town leaving us. (R.I.P Tony ryne mitch tone parlo. and others) But somehow we all seem to stay strong and stay friends. We don’t let these instances bring us down. (corny i know) Most if not all of our parents work in the city and we all spend a good chunk of our lives there. We are only 12 miles outside the city allowing us to use it to it’s full advantage and not be looked at as tourists. Yes we are located in NJ but if you ask anyway they will say we are the “suburb of New York city.” Our High school has some of the most talented sports teams in the state and our SVPA program might as well be an off broadway production. We also have our own language which isn’t even worth explaining you just have to speak to one of us and you’ll understand…maybe. Theres a lot more I could say but I’ll stop ODing now. I’m not bragging I’m just explaining to the outside world that when you meet these people they will be different from anyone you’ve ever met before. They will be some of the best people you’ve ever known.
